Wolf Of Wall Street Trailer Howls Online

Greed is good for Leonardo DiCaprio

Wolf Of Wall Street Trailer Howls Online

If the first trailer is anything to go by, The Wolf Of Wall Streetis Martin Scorsese kicking back in breezy, jazzy, exuberant mode, with Leonardo DiCaprio in more of a Calvin Candie mood than a suffering Jay Gatsby. Check out the footage over at Apple’s site.

The movie has been adapted from Jordan Belfort’s memoir chronicling his hard-partying indulgences as a stockbroker in 1990s New York. Belfort, his colleagues and associated hangers-on all enjoyed the spoils of his financial fluency, even as it was all slowly revealed to have a criminal side.

This first look at the movie focuses more on the early days of big paycheques, chimp friendships, dwarf-tossing, yacht time and beautiful women, but with the hint of Federal trouble lurking just around the corner. And based on the two moments he gets to run away with, Matthew McConaughey’s career resurgence shows no sign of stopping – he could definitely be a highlight here.

With a script by Sopranos/Boardwalk Empire man Terence Winter and Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Jon Favreau, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jean Dujardin, PJ Byrne and Kenneth Choi in the cast, The Wolf Of Wall Street will howl into our cinemas on January 17 next year.

Riddick Puts Comic-Con Poster Online

Riddick Puts Comic-Con Poster Online

He's ready. And... red?

The mad scrum that is Comic-Con is almost upon us once again, so naturally genre-themed movies are starting to gear up their campaigns aimed at the Con crowd. First up this time is Riddick, led as ever by cheerleader Vin Diesel, who has put the movie’s poster up on his Facebook page. Check it out below.

{Riddick Comic-Con Poster}

This time out, Diesel's growly antihero has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.

The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet without Riddick's head as their trophy. Will the Ridster let that happen? What do you think!

With Jordi Molla, Karl Urban, Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista and Bokeem Woodbine also in the cast, Riddick lands here on September 6. Comic-Con itself runs between July 18 and 21 this year.
