is looking for some lighter fare, if new reports are to be believed.
has learned that Seyfried is in talks for a role in Seth MacFarlane’s upcoming live action flick. She would join MacFarlane and Charlize Theron in the movie’s cast.
8220;‘Million Ways’ follows a sheepish farmer who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his girlfriend leave him. When he meets a notorious outlaw’s wife (Theron) who offers to teach him how to shoot, the farmer sees a chance to win back his love. 8221; Seyfried would play his girlfriend, though we’re guessing he ends up with Theron instead.
MacFarlane is starring in, directing and co-writing the project, which serves as his theatrical follow-up to the hit comedy “Ted. 8221; “Million Ways” has been likened to “Blazing Saddles” as a “Western with contemporary humor, with one undercurrent being just how dangerous and painful life really was in the late 1800s.
Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild co-wrote the script with MacFarlane. Media Rights Capital and Scott Stuber will produce the project. It’s slated for a summer 2013 release date, though that seems a little unlikely.

Chosen One: But I don’t understand. Who are the evil council?
Mushufasa: The answer you seek resides in the stars above.
Chosen One: I don’t understand.
Mushufasa: Of course you don’t. I’m speaking in riddles. That’s kind of the point, like a clue, so when you figure it out you’ll say “Oh, that’s what he meant! Stars above!
That quote up there? which is one of the funniest, goofiest, martial arts movies ever created. It is a completely ludicrous chop-socky parody of pretty much every martial arts movie ever made with new footage inserted and dialogue re-dubbed in to a patently ridiculous comedic re-working of a 1970s martial-arts movie. It’s wacky, it’s wild and fully committed to being totally silly. This is a movie that features a fight with a cow after all.
The plot involves a highly skilled martial artist known as “the chosen one” who sets out to avenge his family’s death and faces his greatest challenges yet: a cow with a deadly udder and a warlord who insists everyone call him “Betty. 8221; While getting from point A to point B, the film is filled with hilariously obtuse dialogue that cuts through the usual kung fu film script malarkey. Take this chat between Betty and the Mayor for example: “What exactly is the Evil Council’s plan? 8221; “It is evil. It is so, so evil. It is a very evil, bad plan that will hurt many people that are good. I think it’s great, because it’s so bad. 8221; ” I see. I think. 8221; It’s “Austin Powers” meets “Once Upon A Time in China” meets “Hollywood Shuffle. 8221; What’s not to love about that? Nothing. So spend your Sunday on the couch watching “Kung Pow: Enter the Fist” and know you’re living up to your full potential.
