Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I have to start out by saying I adore Guardians of the Galaxy. It’s one of my favorite Marvel movies and I love it to bits and pieces. I also adore the Disney theme parks. I’m a season pass holder even though I live half the country away and visit the California parks 5-6 times a year.
The idea of there being a Guardians of the Galaxy ride at Disney’s California Adventure is awesome. The fact that it’s taking over Twilight Zone Tower of Terror… not so awesome.
I get it. There’s only so much room for them build and Star Wars Land is going to take over every square inch of new real estate they’ve gotten around the Disney parks. I just can’t help being bummed that Rod Serling is being booted out for Groot. There’s something awesome about introducing a whole generation of kids to Twilight Zone through that ride that we’re going to miss out on now.
As far as I know, the Tower of Terror in Orlando is still going to be there and to be fair, that version of the ride is far superior to the one in Anaheim, so it’s not the end of the world, but I still can’t help feel a twinge of sadness that this is happening.
Here’s what Tower of Tower looks like right now and I’ll follow this up with some concept images showing you what to expect from GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY – MISSION: BREAKOUT, which will debut

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING production art reveals Michael Keaton’s feathery character!!!

This will make BIRDMAN forever a double feature with this movie!

Read the full article on AICN

Hey folks, Harry here…   It wasn’t really a highly held secret – just about everyone in the info-gathering realms all heard from their sources it would be THE VULTURE fighting SPIDER-MAN in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING…   and that Michael Keaton was playing him.  Hell, even IMDB had Keaton listed as being the Vulture…  and that’s just grand.   It means that forever, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING will be the first film I play before watching BIRDMAN…  and Oh the giggles.  But when I think of the Vulture my mind always conjures Steve Ditko’s version first.

I mean…  Right?   That’s him…   But the VULTURE’s gear and look has changed more than just about anyone could keep track of…   and with FALCON flying in this same universe – the tech for winged flight has already been demonstrated and tech’d in the MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE…   and at the panel in HALL H of Comic Con – they screened footage I haven’t seen online yet – but also revealed this Production Art:

Isn’t that just utterly terrific?   Look at them clawed feet – love it!
Keep it cool,

Harry
